A good forecast for this morning, but for rain later in the afternoon. So MrM suggested a late-morning walk on the Trans Pennine Trail, a coast to coast trail between Southport and Hornsea. We did a very short section from Dunford Bridge and back. MrM insisted that we walked a bit further than the bridge, the distance we'd agreed, in the hope of partaking in coffee and cake at the café, but was disappointed - it had closed just before we got there! A pleasant walk, and we got home just before the rain came.
