A Photographic Memory

Running on pure vibes (and mint)

The first two days of the week were very difficult with some personnel situations that needed a lot of detailed and thoughtful work with different kinds of people. After that, my social battery was completely depleted, it didn't take much!

Wednesday was a busy day with some offsite meetings but no time to pop the camera out and shoot something.  The meeting room we were in was somewhere I have seen a lot from the outside, but never in the inside!

Today I was due to be in the office, but the meeting I was attending for was cancelled.  It was a real treat to work at home today - to make coffee with nice beans in my normal coffee pot, and my home coffee mug - I can't make a moka pot at work, as there's no capability to do so!  I got a lot more project work done whilst working at home, have had some great music on this afternoon, and it's been a good and gentle day.

Another proper working at home treat was being able to start the day slowly with a bath this morning and finish an audiobook - Promising Young Women by Caroline O'Donoghue. It was an interesting story, and I enjoyed the book despite the dark themes.

The day followed with a flurry of meetings, calls and project work - and my manager would like to celebrate the end of the big project that's taken 4 years to finish, with a small tea-party of some kind.  It should be interesting!

Now it is getting to the evening.  The light is weaker, but the sun streams in. The mint gleams in sunbeams, and the rainbow-makers and crystals create prismatic colour washes all over.  Here is a multi exposure of mint and rainbows, zooms and crystals, to describe a whizzy yet grateful day.
