The Last Great Feast
I always think of ivy as providing the last great feast of summer. Finally up on the butterfly reserve this afternoon, I found huge bushes of it, covered with bees of all varieties and this Red Admiral - the butterfly that always loves it best! It's also one of the very few times red admirals have crossed my path all summer so, common butterfly that it is, I was still thrilled to see it.
Not a lot else to say. I'm rather late posting and still have a few things to do, but largely I'm looking forward to an early night.
Enjoy your evening xx
