The birds

..certainly think autumn has begun.  On the reserve this morning I noticed quite suddenly how much more they're prepared to show themselves.  Added to which, there were shouts from three of the Cetti's warblers that have been not just invisible but silent for the past few months.  Even the trees are beginning to show signs of turning.  This wren posed for me almost as soon as I walked through the gate.

Apart from my lovely walk, a quiet, peaceful kind of day which I've enjoyed.  Hope your day's been a good one.  Take care  xx
