New Mushrooms

We have had a little rain over the past few days - and it seems to have brought the fungi in the woods to life!

I found several colonies of this mushroom - hundreds of caps altogether !!

Sadly none of the bigger varieties of fungi that I have seen before…maybe in a few days :-)

This is a six shot focus stack - camera was on a tripod and my LED panel was used to provide illumination. I did try the flash, but it was too harsh in the dark environment.

Added an extra today .. a family of deer in a field near the woods. Mum with two youngsters and dad watching over them. Not the greatest shot, they were a long way away, and it wasn’t very light. They didn’t hang around for long :-)
