Cranbrook Road Crossing

Back in the harness after the disappointment of last week, this time at Cranbrook Road Crossing on a lovely Bank Holiday Monday. Great weather and a busy timetable with 3 trains operating. On duty from 9.30 to 6.30. This iphone panorama shot is taken on the Rolvenden side of the gates looking up the steep bank towards Tenderden.

Nothing of interest happened, which is a good thing and one or two people stopped by to chat and photograph the trains as they went by. People generally were in a good mood, waving and smiling as they departed after having to wait for the train to pass.

Read a newspaper, did a bit more revision, read some walking and railway magazines and listened to the radio. A pleasant and relaxing day.
