Ailsa Craig
I got up at a sensible time this morning, and sorted out some washing. BB had kindly brought his rugby kit with him, so it could be washed. It wasn’t quite as windy as yesterday, so I dared to hang it out. After breakfast there was more jigsaw-ing, while we waited on BB making an appearance.
Our friends headed down Kildonan way, while we headed to Kilmory where we had a lovely walk along the beach, another favourite walk. BB wasn’t sure whether to come out, due to his bad back, but he seemed a bit happier today, though still in pain.
We then had a late lunch at Lagg Distillery, and a look around. No whisky was purchased! We then headed back to our cottage, where TT had a snooze, and BB and I walked along Blackwaterfoot beach. We then had just enough time to get changed and then headed over to Corrie for another lovely dinner. The Clyde was golden as we drove back (extra).
Once home we finished the jigsaw.
This is Ailsa Craig, a volcanic plug in the Firth of Clyde.
