Gifts from Yorkshire

My nephew and niece dropped in from Gargrave on their way to the lakes for a holiday. It was lovely to see them and talk.
They bought some home made plum jam and some homegrown beetroot chutney.
I had some chutney for tea with sundried tomato bread and lowfat spread and it was delicious.

Never thought of Yorkshire as a place for beetroot. Rhubarb yes but beetroot?

However this was great.
