St Michael's Passage
StevenG has asked for 'school, education related' blips for today's WidWed, So here is a shot of St Michael's Church taken from the Passage side (and indeed a Winchester College schoolboy walking passed it).
St Michael's was a small parish church but for as long as I've been in Winchester it has been closed to all but those connected to the College. If you look online, it's described as the College Chapel. It has a pretty but very cramped churchyard at the back, but here you see it's fronted by a passage much used by the College boys to get to the rather scattered rooms used - I assume - as classrooms, bedrooms, etc.. During the short time I was here, twenty boys must have passed me.
The weather today has been incredibly varied. There have been flashes of sunshine, but always followed by torrential rainstorms. If my current camera was ever going to grow mould inside, today would be the day the rot set in!
Many thanks to StevenG for hosting. And have a lovely evening, all xx
