Hill Top (ish)

Clearly it’s not, but it’s a neat place overlooking Grand Falls. A proper Motel - so much so we had to view an episode of Schitt’s Creek. The falls are more like a dribble though as it’s been such a dry summer.
So it was a driving day after leaving Saint John - first stop St Andrews-by-the-sea. Oh it’s very lovely - with arty gifty crafty shops, very like New England, which isn’t surprising as Maine is just across the river.
Up country we shot; another fine day with a high of 27°C. We took a break at Woodstock (not that one) where we visited our first Tim Hortons. Chaotic.
Then on, cruising up Highway 2 to Grand Falls. This stupid hire car though is a 3.6l V6 and averages 33mpg - my VW at home would be using half as much. And going every bit as fast. What’s that all about?
