Helmsley Castle

It was such a lovely afternoon we decided on a ride to Helmsley. As the schools had gone back this week we thought it would be quieter. How wrong were we! It was very busy with retirees. 

Fortunately we found a space to park and had a walk into Duncombe Park which was quieter. This was the view of the castle from the park.

Then back to base to tackle cleaning the wheelie bin after todays collection. A less than glamorous task but good to get it done. Followed by some decluttering.
