Lucca

After a very relaxing start this morning and waking to lots of mist draping the mountains and hills around, we drove into Lucca and explored the town.   It was so lovely to be not heaving with tourists.  There were tourists but not in the swarms we have seen in Prague, Croatia and Roma.  J and I climbed the Guinigi Tower where this blip was taken.  Doing the best that I can, I think our villa is behind me, not in the hills that you can see in the distance.   It was easy to get around and had a lovely feel to it.   We walked around the walls for a distance on the tree lined path.  Many pinoaks and trees that in a month or so are going to be gorgeous.

A limocello Spritz has been partaken and dinner is soon to be had.
