The Scottish Coastal Clean Up

Blipped this group of willing volunteers on the beach at Portobello on my way to my charity shift this morning.

The Scottish Coastal Clean Up are committed to helping clear the beautiful Scottish coastline of plastic pollution, working together with local groups and beach cleaning organisations.

Well done to these volunteers on helping improve the marine environment against the scourge of plastic, much of which originates in China and has arrived in the UK and Europe with a heavy carbon footprint.

Anyway, I had a nice shift at the shop, meeting some lovely customers including some Tuesday regulars.
