KEFALONIA DAY 3

We decided to set off early for the beach. Firstly to make sure we’d got a sun bed as the beach is quite small and so we could leave by early afternoon.
#We got to the beach at 10 and it was practically deserted :))) we had the choice of 100 sunbed!!!
#We braved the rocks several times again to go for a swim and even my BIL who can’t swim made it in.
We snacked on the beach about 11…I got my holiday club sandwich so I was happy and The Rev got a frappe or 2!!!
We left about 2 and decided to take a detour. With no real idea where we were going we came across a mountain taverna…called Old Time Cafe. We decided to stop for a drink but the homemade food smelt so nice and the ooohhhs and aarrrs from the next table made us abandon our meal plans and eat there!!!! (Far too early for dinner but whatever we’re on holiday…surely there are no rules!).
#The Mountain views were incredible.
We made it home about 5…and were happy to have a swim in the pool.
#In the evening The Rev, J and I went down into town to walk across the bridge to the capital. We saw crabs and flying fish!!!!
We had a quick drink in a bar before heading back over the bridge and home.
