KEFALONIA DAY 2

EDIT: I so rarely know when my blip days are and I’m so chuffed it’s a nice one. Too often it’s a rubbish emergency blip. I love this community and the friends I have made along the way.
A late lazy start (The Rev even had a lay in!!!) then we all spent a few hours around the pool. It so nice that it’s just ours and we don’t have to put towels on the sunbed :))))
At 4pm 3 of us went for the beach expedition. (J decided to stay back at the villa as he was peopled out :)))!!)
We found the first one. It was quite a few steps down (60-80) but it was lovely. It had a great vibe although the music was a bit loud. The sun beds were £35-55 to HIRE NOT TO BUY!!! We stopped in the bar in the shade for a frappe as it was still far too hot even at 4!!
We then drove on to another beach not as nice but definitely worth another visit (tomorrow). Here the sun beds were £18-28 a set.
We all had a dip in the sea and watched the sun starting to set. A quick beach shower and change of clothes and we were ready for our evening meal at the beach taverna.
We took a slightly long journey home but it still only took 25mins. We stopped briefly to get medication for the Revs itchy hands (probably cement allergy from home) and antihistamines for J who has been stung by something and had reacted badly.
A gin and tonic/ a baileys and a few games of dominoes to end the day…perfect.
