New bike trails

A glorious sunny day. I went for a hike up at Pilot Hill as I haven't been all summer. There are no trees and it's hot during that time. Today was perfect. I walked up the canyon I enjoy and was amazed at the trail work that had been done. It had to have been such hot, heavy work. That canyon doesn't get the airflow that up top gets and there were lots of big rocks placed as ramps and such. My blip may be a bit hard to discern but the long left photo is me standing at the top of three rock humps. If you see the orange markings that's where the riders are supposed to go. These trails are the most difficult. The second on the top I'm standing a little further down and the two orange diamonds show the rider to ride up on the top of the very narrow rock. The third on the bottom is just after that narrow rock where they drop down then ride up that rock ramp and swoop around that half circle rock then they are off on the dirt again. Holy cow!!! I sure wish someone had come along to do that.
This was just one area that had been worked on and is completely new. This is also why I walk and don't ride.. lol
I had a nice day. I came home and sat on the back deck and read and enjoyed the flowers. Then I went over to Mom's and we had a drink on the back patio. They have made a lot of progress in the kitchen/dining room and C has unpacked most of the records in the living room. I will deal with all the empty boxes next Saturday.
It was a good day and I'll be ready for school tomorrow.
