Jam!

I finally had the time to make my Nanking jelly/jam. I'm pleased with the amount. Most I will stick in the freezer with a few to give away.
It was a busy day of getting chores done so I can truly have a day off tomorrow.
I saw Mom this morning to take her a zucchini that Kevin had given me last week. I'm not a huge fan, so she gave me an ear of corn from the farmer's market. She remarked how nice it was just to stay in town and not have to head out to work on the house. Then she texted me later to say she had walked Frodo and was sitting on the floor sorting her shoes and that it felt like a good normal day... hurray!!!!
There is a definite feel of fall in the air. I left my windows open last night and it was 58 in the house this morning. It took a long time to warm up just to 63 at around noon. Outside was much warmer.
