Red Admiral On A Rose

The air was beginning to feel a little autumnal when we went for a post-breakfast swim but there were plenty of regulars making the most of it before the pool closes in a couple of Sundays’ time.

Afterwards, Kate & Sophie came over and we all met up with our Park Run friend Debbie and her twins, who needed new school shoes, so they could make use of Chris’s staff discount card. We then had a very sociable brunch in our local Lounge Bar.

Heavy rain had set in late morning but it cleared in time for a mid afternoon walk. Took one or two photos on our way round but when we got home this Red Admiral was posing nicely in our back garden.
