Bird watching

Rain through the night and still quite windy but got up to a very pleasant morning. Early walk, breakfast and then headed off.
We stopped for a wander round Gatehouse of Fleet, bit early and nothing open. Called in at Threave again as thought we would have a coffee and scone before heading home but got delayed at the bird hide and then had lunch. When we arrived at the hide there were no birds around and then it all changed. A guy arrived and went beyond the hide to tidy after the badger last night and put out food. The birds arrived while he was there, and then he came into the hide and we chatted for ages while watching a variety of birds feeding, plus the odd mouse.
Unfortunately I didn’t have the best lens with me so not a good set of photos to choose from.
Arrived at the cottage and hubby popped to shop for food while I started putting everything back to how I like it.
