Twa Dugs

In a two mile walk in Glasgow City Centre today, I came across this wee guy who had fashioned a couple of dogs out of sand in the middle of Buchanan Street. I’ve seen better in photos taken by friends, one including a litter of puppies, but this is the first time I’ve seen one for myself.

I so love Glasgow my home city, I was born and raised there, and spent over 20 years of my ministry in this the friendliest of cities. My heart just sings when I walk the streets of the centre and so many childhood memories come flooding back. Looking up, you will be amazed at the stunning architecture on view although much of it is tainted by colonial bandits from our past.

Their homes and their buildings will last and delight us all for many years to come.
