Feeling old

This morning 3 of us went on a longer walk. It felt good but I did feel it in my back 10 minutes from home. There will be 4 of us walking tomorrow.  

My friend Rhonda from my old work came today for a lovely catch up. She's a amazing woman. She grew up in Shetland and I just love her accent and the words she uses for things. 

Honeycomb was made. In fact 2 batches as the 1 st didn't set well. I really need a sugar thermometer.  But this batch is looking better.  

The new pipe was laid. They need to cut through the garage floor from where our new sink will be. 

The gas man came to change around a gas pipe. Oh boy he made me feel old. He remembered me from when I had him in a after school group and would play computer games with him and draw comic books. 

The eldest and youngsters stayed behind from school today to join the choir. They really enjoyed themselves.  Harp and Lincoln had a peaceful hour at home.
