A New Chapter

Little Man started Group One (Kindergarten; Reception) this morning. As is our new tradition, I got a photo of my boy with his chalkboard (see the extra photo).

My boy doesn't turn four until Friday. However, since the school and I decided that it would be best that Little Man start today as we didn't want to put my boy through two big changes in the space of a week (returning to nursery for a week and then on to Group One). His teacher and I also decided, today, that for the time being, I'll be collecting him at midday, rather than at 2 pm. He still isn't potty trained but we've found a compromise. I'll bike into school to change Little Man's nappy if needed, until he's completely continent. Hopefully, it won't be long.

I biked into Woerden to get a few things after I dropped Little Man off, then came home and did some laundry before I collected him. I took this photo as I was waiting to go in and pick him up. We're having a quiet afternoon together. I'm enjoying spending time with my boy.
