Pumpkin

Tha last weekend of September is traditionally called "Harvest Fest", or festival. Many, many events happen all over the island: art exhibitions, music, coffe shops everywhere, fire shows and, of course sale of all the fruits of the season. I will play as well at a place run by my friends; but more on that when the time comes.

The symbol of the festival is the orange pumpkin that is on display everywhere as a decoration or served as a soup or, whatever the seller can imagine. My neighbour sells them and today, for the first time I saw them on display, three weeks in advance.
