Special days

A special special day today, in many ways. I was at church by 8,30 to pray with a little group of folks...and it was an amazing time... The joy of that overflowed into our church service. Adam gave his testimony on how he's moved from a life of addiction to one of freedom in Jesus - a powerful story. Danny and Nathalie had the joy of baptising this gorgeous soul. He actually moves to northern Portugal tomorrow with his business. We'll miss him.

Nick, Inca and Honey all came back to ours for lunch and a birthday cake (extra) as Inca has his birthday later this week. Sooo wonderful to hang out til late into the evening. There was a spectacular accident with a glass of wine that meant both Nick and Inca had to borrow new outfits from Danny and Nate whilst their stuff went through the washing machine! 
Late afternoon we took a walk along the coast for the guys to watch some football, once the kids were fed up I brought them back for a movie and popcorn.  Special to have this time as Nick picks up his world tour again later this week, so these chilled times won't be as often til that's done.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Such a brilliant morning. And Adam. From the first day he nervously walked into church, he's had a special place in our Hampson heart.
2) Nate, Inca and Honey getting on so so well. They spent most of the time at ours lying on the floor playing Lego together.
3) These incredible days at church which we'll be talking about way into the future. Beautiful things happening all the time.
