Sunday: Courgette
Another very windy day, temperature around 18°C but feels cooler.
MrD loves picking blackberries and went off late morning to his favourite lane and returned with a container full - I’d reminded him that we still have some in the freezer from last year!
After lunch he decided to go for a game of golf, heavy rain arrived as soon as he’d left … he managed to go round the course and stay dry!
With all the hot weather and drought and my health issues, the garden and seasonal plantings haven’t been very organised, I planted lots of Courgette - the slugs and snails enjoyed eating them! Today’s Blip is of my only surviving plant which suffered through lack of water but has picked up since the rains started, it even has a nice looking courgette fruit developing … fingers crossed …
Loads of love and hugs to all my family / Cariad Mawr
