Life through the lens...

Judy Woods

We haven’t been for a walk round Judy Woods since April.
We were interested to see if the trees were suffering with all the dry weather, but No all very green as you can see. The paths were very dry and for once no mud anywhere.
I loved the light and shade in this photograph. Taken as MrC was walking down towards Judy Bridge.
The beck however was just a mere trickle.

We passed the bee keepers house and there was a notice outside saying he had some honey for sale from 2pm - 4 pm. Unfortunately we were a couple of hours too early. We did buy 4 lbs of plums which were for sale outside a farm on the way home.
Will make some plum chutney with some of them.

Two extras. One telling the story of Judy Woods, and the other a collage of our walk.

After a fine morning we have had a couple of short showers. Nothing much and the sun is now shining again and is still quite warm.
Will be watching Countryfile tonight as they are visiting Bolton Abbey.

Well done to the Northern Superchargers women’s cricket team who have just won the Hundred final.
