AN APPLE FOR SNOWWHITE
but these two are not poisoned ones, it's just that they are so red it made me think of that fairytale!!!
A trip to see Mum today. No problems on the roads, a little busy but I was expecting it to be worse considering its the last day of the school holidays, but maybe everyone's gone back already.
Mum was up early washing kitchen and bathroom floors (no idea why, but that's Mum). We took over some shopping for her and did a few admin chores. Then when it came time to go we started getting ourselves together when the heavens opened. We hung back a little and it soon went over - well it was still raining but not as heavily.
The traffic heading from Morecambe towards Lancaster was pretty heavy but we were going in the opposite direction so no worries. Of course due to the rain there would have been no problem parking on Th Prom today but of course it was raining too much and the tide was out so we didn't bother.
It was sunshine and showers all the way home, bt we arrived with no problems.
Feeling really shattered now as once again last night I had very little sleeep - so hope I get some tonight!!! No idea why, but it just happens sometimes.
That's all from me for today - do take care and stay safe and I will see you all tomorrow.
Oh the apples are from one of our two trees and they are both abundant this year. We've been having stewed apples for a couple of nights, very tasty and juicy.
