Kitchen Still Life

I brought in a bit of white Phlox and thought I would have a bit of fun with it turning it into "painting".  I included a wee milk pitcher from my collection of luster ware pitchers.  Lusterware is a type of pottery or porcelain with a metallic glaze that gives the effect of iridescence. This one has a copper glaze. Very popular in the 19th century it was first produced in the Middle East in the 9th century.  Therein ends your history lesson for the day.
