Birthday surprises

I have had a wonderful day of surprises! First, I opened two delightful cards from George and Pippa, and a woolly present from Rob.
Then, Wendy and Gilly took us to Butterfly World, a paradise of tropical beauties hidden away in Goldsithney. We went on to Island Cupcakes for some refreshments , trying not to eat too much as more to follow!
After a brief detour via Dobbies we paused for cups of tea at Gills.
Then Graham finished work and we all went to the Taj Mahal for a superb curry. The proprietor brought me a Tia Maria at the end, and led everyone in a round of HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
If that wasn’t enough, when we got back we had more presents, a card made by Wendy, and a slice of amazing dark chocolate gateau……phew!
