Camera Obscura

Today's weather forecast was Gwlyb!, so I headed south as that was forecast to be less bad.
A stop off at the Machynlleth Museum of Modern Art (always worth a look at) and then on to the National Library of Wales in Aberystwyth.
I was in the National Library for the worst of the weather passing through, and went there primarily to see a new permanent exhibition on 100 years of Broadcasting in Wales. Then I went for a stroll along the promenade, out on the pier and also had a ride up the funicular railway, which is the longest in the UK, and at the top visited the camera obscura, the pictures today weren't too good due to the weather.
In the extras is a picture from the 100 years of braodcasting in Wales exhibition, showing Alan Rustad who was the anchor man for the early evening news on HTV for many years, most people who were around in Wales at that time would have recognised him. Being the geek that I am, I went - Ahh, a Marconi Mk8 in Pontcanna Studio 3, at some point in my career it is quite possible that I worked on that camera!
