Yarrow

I needed to get my light table into operation again. And had no idea as to where Basil and I might go this afternoon particularly as rain was forecast.

I decided to pick some yarrow which has grown profligately on our verge. It's very structural. It was also an opportunity to get out on my crutches and pick some stems on our return.

We stopped at Helen and David's but Helen wasn't in. That didn't deter Basil from rushing into the house when David answered the door. We walked round to the play circle and back.

At home, I got the light box out and arranged my stems of yarrow. To be honest, there wasn't enough contrast in the stems so it's an uninteresting photo. It does look a bit better in black and white (Extra).

It rained while Len took Basil for a walk but has stopped now. So much for the promise of a deluge.
