A real Autumn day.

Steady rain and increasing winds have created a very normal day out West, but a chance to deal with some long overdue admin and also clear up after inviting friends for supper last evening.This is not unconnected with my falling behind with commenting  yesterday as the meal preparation etc took longer than anticipated.
The rain will almost certainly be more useful than Thursday night's downpour which tended not to soak into the soil.
This is a water colour purchased in Brittany many years ago and not surprisingly hangs in the kitchen.
