Nana Joan
Mr R was leaving early this morning to spend the day in Glasgow with his friends. He's had his warning about getting the right train home this time. Always a worry when alcohol is involved.
We had a visit to nana Joan this morning. She lost her husband about 24 years ago. Tomorrow would have been her 56th wedding anniversary. So I was looking through her wedding album. She made a beautiful bride.
The wildlings have had a day in the house. Ad it's pouring down.
My running mate Gordon and Claire have just spent a couple of hours here. It was great to catch up. And they brought me round beautiful sunflowers.
I didn't get a good sleep at all last night so I'm feeling pretty knackered. At least with Mr R away I can go to bed not long after the wildlings tonight. They seem pretty tired too.
This morning I watched Jeano's mums goodbye. Such a sad loss. I haven't been in church for many many years and this morning I had ecclesiastes 3 in my head. ' there is a time.... ' and it was one of her readings. I think the whole of blip will be sending Jeano our love.
