It's a wet Flower Friday!

We woke to rain this morning, which is wonderful for our poor parched garden.  Pictured today is the fuchsia near the pond, dripping with rain droplets., although the rain had stopped by the time that I took this photo.
In Extras: a shot of Violet, my alternative flower.  She arrived bright and early this morning for a weekend with us.  As you see, she was in a mood to practice her yoga.
In other news: daughter #1 and Winnie arrived for the weekend too this afternoon - more of Winnie tomorrow.  The naughty puss escaped at bedtime through one of the cat doors that still functions.  I had forgotten that I set it on 'Out' for Fred so that if he sneaked in, he could get out and was amazed that little Winnie found it and used it when she does not have a cat door at home!  Luckily she was found outside, unable to re enter!
