Portsmouth

Early morning and a beautiful sail into Portsmouth Harbour.

Now to do battle with the trains………

Thank you for following my adventure and for all the lovely comments and hearts. 


Edit. The train from Portsmouth was ok. The bus from Waterloo to Euston was awful. I wouldn't have made the Crewe train if it had been on time.
Worse was to follow.
It was delayed...and delayed...and finally left 25 minutes late.
Then they cancelled all stops after Rugby and decided to go straight to Crewe. Those of us wanting the cancelled stations had to get off and wait.

The Rugby train, after 35 minutes, arrived and we got on.
Then. It was held at Rugby because of a trespasser at Atherstone.
Just heard she's been "cleared" (train or female trespasser ?)
Still held....
You couldn't make it up.

You're never going to believe this. 
Still held. 20 minutes on.

Update...
They've just announced that they've lost the driver !
A new one expected in ten minutes.  Sillier and sillier....
