KEFALONIA DAY 1

J&S arrived at ours at 4:15am then after luggage sorting we left for Gatwick. I’m glad we drove down and didn’t train it at that time!!!!
The plane was an hour late taking off but we made up more than 1/2hr. Hopefully the pilot won’t get a speeding ticket!!!
The hire car collection was easier to sort than in Athens and we were soon on our way.
Our villa is about 25 mins away up in the hills. It’s quite isolated but we’ve got a car so we can enjoy the peace. We stopped at Lidl :))) for supplies.
The villa is wonderful, quite luxurious. 2 comfy bedrooms and a nice kitchen/diner/living room. The best bit is the private pool with lovely sun loungers.
After a few hours around the pool we went down into the capital town; Argostoli. We found a lovely taverna by the harbour wall for dinner. It was great watching the sunset and then wandering around the town in the evening.
