Visitors

A and her son and daughter (M & A) drove over from Essex to visit today. I haven’t seen them since February and the kids have grown a bit, but matured so much in the time. It was great to catch up on the news. M is applying for a university place soon, so was able to tell us about the places he has visited and been shown round.

We wend out for dinner at the same Steakhouse as last time. B joined us this time and thoroughly enjoyed the generous portioned meal.

We drove down to town to meet up with A, M and A who were staying overnight at a hotel in town. As we got out of the car the heavens opened. We almost got soaked in the short distance we walked.

Returning our visitors to the hotel we got a text from R & S to say that they had just arrived in Kent. They are away for the weekend and we are looking after Olive. She and Amber have been entertaining Annie this afternoon.

Driving home was a nightmare, with lashing rain and the car windows misting up and spray everywhere!!!!!
