Lytham

My blood test unbeknown to me turned into a quick medical. The usual BMI, loose some weight, blood pressure etc. The disconcerting thing was my height. 5ft 9 all my adult life. Nurse measured me at 5ft 6 so I asked her to do it again and it came out at 5ft 7. Two possibilities :- NHS cut backs have produced a shorter more compact stick or the nurse hadn't received the full training on how to use the stick. Still if I must loose a couple of inches I would rather it was off my height than any other vital equipment. I will get my own stick and check the results. On a positive note my feet have gone up a size.

To help recover from the indignity we had a trip to Lytham. A good walk along the front, a look around the windmill museum and back to the car through Lowther Gardens. The extras are in Lowther Gardens and include a statue of local funny man Bobby Ball. A good day out.

Thank you for all comments. I will catch up soon!

Showery day.
