Through the square window

Slept ok, noisy on the building site from the get go…….eventually dropped off again as it was gone 1am when I went to bed :-/

Up, showered, laundry put away, was heading towards 11 by the time I made my way downstairs. I decided it was too late for breakfast as I was meeting old neighbours D&E, together with Sylvia, who lost her partner T only a couple of months back, for lunch. They were the other members of our original quiz team when N was still here.

We met near Sylvia’s as she is still recovering from a nasty ankle break.
Time flew & before we knew it, it was 3.30 & time to head home, just as the heavens opened!

Traffic was pretty busy…. I had planned to cut the back lawn but the rain put pay to that. Didn’t need to water my window boxes etc either, so made myself a brew & settled down to watch another episode of The Gathering, based in Liverpool, really good!

I took this blip from my position on the sofa…… in the lounge,!you can see my flowers in the window boxes, they are quite tall now, but starting to look a little bit leggy, unlike me lol ;-))
