Playing with a photo filter

We went to Bennett Park to walk... thank goodness the rain and thunderstorms have taken a break. I took a couple of photos of one of the ponds and this Little Blue Heron. It was a fine photo, but a little plain. That's what gave me the idea to see what it would look like if I added a filter. 

I used the BeFunky photo editor and this filter was called "Vector Art". I picked it on a whim not knowing what it would do, but I was certainly impressed! That was fun. 

I created another ICAD (index card a day) using fabric and part of a fishing net I found on the beach a dozen years ago! I keep it with my art supplies and have whittled away at it for different projects ever since (see this 2013 blip entry!). You'll find today's ICAD in the extra photos, No. 87.
