Integration

With PhD student Y taking a break after her review meeting, and with the contract for our work with NESO finally signed after three months of legal faffing by people who don't understand what we're doing, I integrated the code she's written into the main codebase. It's this solver that we'll be paid for writing. The process also gave me an insight into how she's gone about writing it. We need to understand why it doesn't yet perform as well as another implementation of the same algorithm, and I started that process, too. Hence I ended up with a fascinating bit of "old fashioned" numerical linear algebra to play with, and surprised myself with what I discovered. Fortunately I was completely oblivious of United's shameful loss to Grimsby, and only learned of it the following morning. The pleasure at seeing Rangers absolutely stuffed by Brugge took the edge off my pain!
