"Hey! that's mine!"

This is a tale of wildlife in our local gardens. At a coffee morning today one
neighbour reported seeing a fox asleep under their plum tree. It was later spotted by another neighbour running across her lawn and disappearing through a hole in the hedge into our garden.
Another neighbour mentioned that recently she saw seven deer sleeping on her lawn. I dared not ask how they left fearing the inevitable answer that they leapt through into our garden.

Meanwhile my contribution to the conversation was that we have nothing more exotic than a red squirrel and nuthatch sharing the same bird table.
I guess this takes rewilding in suburbia to a whole new level.
