After a morning of sunshine, the rain arrived. And it came in short violent showers.

Already the leaves are falling and we have yet to have a summer holiday.
Reports of European heatwaves and airport hassles have lessened our interest in summer travel, especially since Scotland has enjoyed such pleasant weather.
