The view from Brent Tor
Into Plymouth to pick up Angus before heading to Dartmoor, where he directed us to Brent Tor. We walked up to St Michael of Rupe, the 12th century church at the top of the tor, from where the views are fabulous. The church itself is small and wonderfully peaceful!
After that, we drove through Dartmoor, and then on to Tavistock, a very pleasant town where we spent an hour or two wandering around before having a fish & chip tea (yes, MrM, twice in one week is really once too many!). Finally back to Plymouth to take Angus home, before returning to the campsite.
During our absence two very large, noisy parties had arrived and shattered the peace, one pitching their tents next to us. Hey ho...
