The final day, yes we have arrived home. I know a few of you will be disappointed, but we made it home safely today. Don’t fret, the truck is fantastic, life on the road has been exciting, sometimes challenging, but a lot of fun. I love living in the truck, it’s luxurious, comfortable, but also simple. We have everything we need and no clutter. I arrived home, the house is like some kind of weird museum, with lots of stuff hanging around with no purpose:-). Definitely a project over the next few weeks.
We left the lake parking place at 10am, then drove a traffic was moving well. I chose Ettlingen on the map, looked like an ideal place to have a look around near the motorway and what a treat it was. A beautiful paved old town, clean and tidy with lots of flowers. We had a look around, sandwich, and then carried on. We stopped for fuel before the border, it’s slightly cheaper in Germany than Switzerland as the Euro is quite low compared to the CHF.
When we got home we spent a couple of hours catching up with H, our son. Of course we were completely ignored by Miss Money Penny, for about 4 hrs, but she caved in eventually.
