Getting the sparkle back

Macbeth in a nutshell

I met up with my old nursing buddies in Perth Museum and in between sessions of blethering while restoring ourselves in the cafe, we looked at the Macbeth exhibition. This offered a number of new perspectives on the play, including that the historical Macbeth was in fact a good and popular king and that Shakespeare changed him into the monster we know to curry favour with the monarch at the time, James VI and I. There's an extra of the weird sisters stirring soup - I would give them a wide berth.

Just a note to say that I cleared putting this photo online with the museum - they were quite happy about it.
