Fire!

This was taken from my flat in the afternoon. At one point there were four fire engines. As far as I could see, no one was hurt. A woman with a cat carrier came out of the main door to the stair just after the first fire engine arrived. I could see smoke coming out of the windows and at one point there were flames but I wasn't quick enough to get a picture. I think the fire was put out by firemen who went into the flat from the stair - the man in the lift just seemed to be looking into the flats and wasn't involved in putting out the fire. I left to go to the darkroom at about 5:45pm and the fire engines and firemen were still there but not obviously doing anything, but I expect they probably were. By the time I came home everything looked back to normal, although I guess it wasn't inside.
