Mortirolo and Gavia!

The Passo Mortirolo was my first aim of the day and instantly as the slopes began to steepen I entered "my happy place". I didn't see a single person or car, bliss! 

My next target for the day was Passo di Gavia so I set about looping my way round to the base of it. I had climbed it from Bormio in May last year and had stop at the snow line. Today I started from Ponte di Legno which is the other side of the mountain. The climb was simply stunning and the views extraordinary with just the last two miles being inside the clouds. Again, not another cyclist to be seen until the top where I saw 4 others who had come from Bormio. 

Nearly 21,000 feet of climbing over the last two days. Who am I?! Imposter syndrome!
