Backing up the road

Good to see the ground rather damper than it has been for a while! We were expecting a delivery of a new fridge/freezer today so had to stay around. Eventually the delivery time was brought down from between 7am and 7pm to between 7am and 10am, so that made it easier. Eventually the man arrived at 9am and I was surprised to find that he was on his own! He managed very well though his initial idea of parking down at the road didn't sound so good when he realised what a steep slope he had to climb - today's Blip! He did a good reversing job!

We had to leave the new fridge for several hours to settle down after a road trip from Falkirk, then a few more hours to descend to the right temperature, but before long all was well.

The rain began before my nephew and his wife arrived to stay the night after a group climb up Ben Nevis, so we had to wait a while before we could go out. Eventually the rain ceased so we wandered up to McCaig's Tower to join the crowd of visitors enjoying the view - and stroking Misha, the resident cat, today's extra. He takes it all in good part - I think he enjoys being a celebrity!
