Barbara

Gosh, it was SO GOOD not to have to wake up early today. The night was cold, and I woke several times with achy joints. :((

The morning should have been spent getting ready for the weekend, but instead, we took it easy, and I showed G all the work that had been completed while she was away. Thankfully, she is happy with it all.

The big thing today was to meet Barbara, a friend we have known since she came to Dubai with her husband Ian, who sadly passed away three years ago. We haven't seen Barbara since 2019, so she was high on the list of people whom we wanted to visit.

As you can see, she is looking well in her CoE flat. She doesn't drive anymore, but she was game to go out for a pub meal. Another delicious meal at a gastropub, and if it wasn't getting dark so much sooner now, we would have stayed a little to listen to their live musician, Colin Santana. We enjoyed watching him set up. So many small things to put in place to get the sound you want.

And it was great to drive the Polestar 2 in daylight. G is warming to it. :))
